Fall Festivities at Broadway Village!
Broadway Village has been getting festive this October! Our community room has been busy with both regular and new activities. The Monthly Chat and Chowder was held on Wednesday, Oct 15th. Chat and Chowder is a lunch and interactive event hosted in our community room each month and features a mystery guest! This month featured our New Hope Police department, with many members in attendance. Residents had many questions, and the answers were very informative! Up next on Nov 6th we will host the New Hope Park and Rec Director, Aaron Thelan!
On Tuesday 21st, we hosted a utility cost reduction workshop where residents learned how their Conservice statements are generated and how to help us save on our trash and recycling costs. Thursday, Oct 23rd, was an interactive and engaging session tax seminar with tax expert Joy Berg, daughter of residents Terry and Vicky. She answered questions and has promised to come back and do taxes for our residents next year at a reduced rate!
Lastly, our annual Fall Festival was a huge success! Residents turned out for an evening of joy, fun and laughter. We had games, finger food, pumpkin carving and costume contest and shared friendship and fellowship. Big thanks to the volunteers who made it happen!
