Live Well Be Well

At Lang Nelson, wellness programming is at the forefront of our social calendars in all of our communities. Staying healthy and promoting a healthy lifestyle have been one of our foundational programs. We offer healthy eating seminars and tutorials, fitness classes, community organic gardens, blood pressure clinics, podiatry clinics, Wii bowling, tai chi, chair yoga and water aerobics (to name a few).

Many of these programs are resident led and community supported. We have a strong group of volunteers at each of our communities. We have found that giving back and doing good for others also promotes a wellness focused lifestyle. Within the last couple of years, we have partnered with Hennepin County Health to ensure our programs and initiatives are supported by experts with a vast array of community resources.

Exercise Programs

An array of weekly scheduled exercise programs are happening within our communities. From water aerobics to instructor led yoga classes-we offer programs to keep you fit and heart healthy.

Blood Pressure Clinics

Our senior communities partner with local professionals to offer monthly blood pressure clinics- a ‘check-up’ in the convenience of your own rental community.

Walking Clubs

Indoors or out- we take pride in celebrating your steps. Join a walking club today and start counting your progress!

Smoke Free

We take great pride in announcing that every Lang Nelson community is ‘smoke free’ inside our apartment homes, common areas and offices. Be well and breathe well!
