The Coon Rapids Fourth of July Community Celebration is coming up July 2-4 at Boulevard Park, on the grounds of the Coon Rapids Ice Center. This event kicks things off with the Firecracker 5K/10K/Kids Sparkler Dash. You also won’t want to miss the parade, carnival games, rides, live music, bingo, pull tabs, car show, food and drinks, and some of the best fireworks in the Twin Cities!

Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park

This park is one of the most unique parks in the Three Rivers. The Mississippi River defines the boundary of this 160-acre park and there are many opportunities to see our nation’s greatest river up close. From the 12-foot wide observation walkway on top of the dam, enjoy spectacular scenery, the roar of the water, and rainbows in the mist.

Bunker Beach Water Park

Bunker Beach is Minnesota’s largest outdoor water park. This park features a wave pool, water slides, lazy loop, rocky bay, adventure pool, volleyball courts, and several picnic areas. WCCO even voted Bunker Beach the Best Outdoor Water Park in Minnesota 2017!
