Broadway Village takes a Trip to Harriet Island

Our adventure began at 11:00 a.m. with our friendly driver, Karen, welcoming everyone aboard and helping with sign-ins before we set off for the day.

Our destination was Harriet Island, where we boarded the Padelford sightseeing boat and enjoyed a relaxing 90-minute cruise along the Mississippi River. The beautiful views, eagle sighting and peaceful time on the water made the trip especially memorable.

It was a wonderful outing, and  Broadway residents had a great time sharing the experience together. Laughter, conversation, and time spent outdoors made it a day to remember.

The residents are already asking for more outdoor trips this summer, and with Karen letting us know about weekend bus availability, it looks like this may be just the first of many summer adventures!
