Lots of Love at Broadway Village
February may be the shortest month of the year, but it is full of hearts as it is called the month of Love.
At Broadway Village, the community is at the heart of what we do. We value our wonderful group of residents and always look for ways to engage with and celebrate them. This February, we have scheduled activities which give us a great opportunity for everyone to feel included.
Chat and Chowder. As we host a Medicare broker as guests on Wednesday February 18th, we are grateful to have Tony, a retired Chef volunteer his time and talent at Broadway Village. Though making an Italian meal, Tony who has a passion for cooking and community service has promised to give us a real taste of Texan hospitality.
Chinese New Year. A dance group invited by our residents Paul and Grace Wong is billed to perform the “Lion dance” at our Chinese New Year celebration on Friday 20th at 4.30 PM.
Black History Celebration. Black history is American history; we will celebrate this unique history with series of activities including a bus ride to the museum of African American Heritage on Wednesday February 25th and a black history celebration at 2pm on the 26th.
