Our Lunch Bunch is set to enjoy a fall tour along the way to www.thethayer.com on November 7th. In addition to great classic comfort food, this historic former hotel is seasonally decorated the fullest!
This month we are headed out a Minnesota favorite, www.generalstoreofminnetonka.com on November 10th. Not to be missed, the General Store is known for its curated selection of unique gifts (start your holiday shopping) and has an amazing cafe with delectable popovers. The perfect resting place after shopping!
Our Dinner Club is venturing out November 18th to www.hazelwoodfoodanddrink.com . Known for its fresh and seasonal food, residents are looking forward to the lively ambiance , excellent service and diverse menu!
We’re excited to embrace the holiday season with the kick of Light Up the Night. The white lights wrapping trees and covering shrubs are like a comfortable hug when you come home to Orono Woods.
Onsite we are embracing the cooler evenings, staying in and adding fun nights including board games, dice games, card games and dominos to enjoy with our friends.
November birthdays will be celebrated on November 20th with the soulful sounds of www.jeffcarvermusic.com Jeff is a professional trumpet / flugelhorn soloist known for his smooth vocals.
Residents at Orono Woods will host our Friendsgiving / Thanksgiving Potluck on Friday, November 21st. A taste sensation of epic proportions - it’s an event not to be missed. We are grateful that a trio, including resident Jim L and two friends from www.stgeorgelonglake.org will once again provide top tapping tunes!
We are thankful to have warm-hearted and generous residents. Our charitable drives this month, has us partnering with www.trinitylonglake.org to provide Thanksgiving / holiday foods to the families served by https://iocp.org and www.wecanmn.org Sharing is Caring!
