Christmas festivities abound at Orono Woods, surprising and delighting our residents!

Fa la la la la! Residents are preparing to enjoy Christmas caroling around the piano and to learn the history of some of our favorite carols under the artistic direction of Natalie VanBurkleo-Carbonara the founder of www.summitmusicmn.org
On December 15th, we climb aboard the Lang Nelson bus and are headed out to another a Minnesota favorite, www.bachmans.com on Lyndale for a day of tasty treats at www.patricksbakerycafe.com surrounded by winter foliage and shopping treasures waiting to be found!
Our evening event is an excursion to enjoy The Spirit of Winter at www.sovereignestatewine.com to enjoy this majestic illuminated winter wonderland covered in sparking lights and attractions and enjoying lite bites holiday beverages.
Our resident volunteer decorating committee / holiday elves have been scurrying around the community rooms at Orono Woods, magically and beautifully decorating for residents, family and visitors to enjoy!
We approach winter solstice and celebrate December birthdays on December 18th with the airy, light and ethereal holiday melodies with the talented Sandra Sheih on the flute.
Residents at Orono Woods will host our Christmas Potluck on Friday, December 19th. A taste sensation holiday inspired recipes not to be missed!
