It’s a new season at Banfill Crossing!
We have had many wonderful and vibrant seniors join our community lately. We are looking forward to adding more! 😊
I am always pleased at how the Banfill Community makes all new residents feel welcome and included! We invite all to join in our events and daily activities. This is a great place to make new friends.
Banfill Crossing is quiet and clean and well taken care of. We are a community of 55 plus, independent seniors. But don’t let that fool you, we also know how to have fun!
Recently we went out to lunch at some old and new favorites. Our next luncheon will be at Pizza Pub Pizza Pub | Blaine MN . This is a new place for us. One of our residents suggested we give it a try so off we go! We will also head back to RJ Riches R.J. Riches Family Restaurant a little later in the month. This place never disappoints.
Our Resident Council, as always, has kept the focus on fun. We are hosting our annual Craft and Bake sale on October 17th. This has become an area favorite event. Residents will be baking amazing treats to sell, and our crafters will show everyone how talented they truly are. Ticket sales begin next week.
Banfill Crossing residents have also had a great time with all our regular daily and weekly activities, like cards, crafts, coffee, bible study, book club and all the other events. As always, we stay fit by hosting our free exercise class We are also getting fit every Tuesday through our collaboration with fox rehab FOX Rehabilitation. They get our health and wellness program started and we keep it going via our on-site Fitness Center.
We are also great at utilizing our other community resources. Robin from Heart and Home Brokers Robin LaCasse, will come out to host a Medicare update event October 27th. Springbrook Nature Center is just around the bend and often has events and activities to enjoy Springbrook Nature Center - City of Fridley.
Area shopping is not lacking. Grocery options are all around us Mike’s Discount Foods, Bob’s Produce, Asia Market, almost too many to mention. We even take our Lang Nelson Transportation Transportation twice a week to our local Cub Foods.
