Great things are happening here.
This summer has been wonderful, we have been busy and we love that!
Banfill Crossing, as always, is quiet and clean and well taken care of. We are a community of 55 plus, independent seniors. But don’t let that fool you, we also know how to have fun!
We make the most of new adventures and opportunities. Recently we enjoyed trips to hear live music Summer Concert Series | Coon Rapids, MN - Official Website, went out to lunch at some old and new favorites Pizza Ranch in Andover, MN | 13797 Jay Street NW and Carol's Restaurant, and introduced new games through open community events like Casino Bingo and the Price is Right – There is always so much to do!
Our Resident Council, as always, has kept the focus on fun. We have recently amped up our Welcome Committee. We want to be sure our new residents are aware of all we have to offer, as well as getting to know them and making them feel at home. As one of our newest residents said “I like the way you do things here. The people are wonderful”, Jerry B.
Banfill Crossing residents have also had a great time with all our regular daily and weekly activities, like cards, crafts, coffee, bible study, book club and all the other events we host. We start every morning sharing coffee and the day’s news with neighbors. Then we have activities in our Great Room and Game Room, and possibly on to a luncheon, bingo, grocery shopping…. We are also getting fit and staying strong every Monday through our collaboration with fox rehab FOX Rehabilitation. They get us started and we keep it going via our on-site Wellness Center.
We are also great at utilizing our other community resources. Springbrook Nature Center is just around the bend and often has events and activities to enjoy Springbrook Nature Center - City of Fridley. And we have such convenient shopping! Many residents take weekly (if not daily) walks to Walmart Walmart | Save Money. Live better., also checking out the Northtown Shopping Center Northtown Mall |. Grocery options are all around us Mike’s Discount, Cub, Bob’s Produce, Asia Market, almost too many to mention
