Cedarwood and Feed My Starving Children Send Food to Afghanistan

Cedarwood has a great time feeding kids!  
As you learned in a previous blog post, Cedarwood chose Feed My Starving Children as our year end charity this year. We all had such a great time fundraising but had even more fun at the food packing event. We traveled by Lang Nelson Bus to the Feed My Starving Children location in Coon Rapids. There, we joined many other groups all there for the same reason, to pack meals that would feed hungry and malnourished children. The food we packed that day was sent to Afghanistan. In just a two hour period the group of people there were able to pack 29,376 meals. This is enough to feed 80 children for an entire year. All the ingredients for the meals are paid for through donation. We were proud to bring $261 with us as donation from the Cedarwood Community. We look forward to more charitable endeavors in the future and hope that you all will participate with us!
