The Crossings Donates Hats and Mittens to Local School
Each month throughout the school year we have a 1st grade class from Earle Brown Elementary School that comes to our community for an intergenerational activity, this is a wonderful experience for both the residents and children that attend. This year The Crossings at Brookwood residents wanted to give back to the Earle brown Elementary School children so we took up a donation of hats and mittens for the School. Our generous residents collected 125 hats and 30 pairs of mittens 66 of those hats and 10 pairs of mittens were hand knit by the ladies that run our salon here at The Crossings at Brookwood. Thank you to everyone that donated to this wonderful group of children.
