Cloverleaf Courts Presents Owls of Minnesota at Mary Ann Young Center
The best senior center in the metro, Mary Ann Young Center (MAYC), is a very special part of our community in Blaine. They provide a daily meal, educational classes, tax help through AARP, entertainment, volunteer, and social opportunities every weekday of every month, and have done so for years. Our manager, Jake, is part of their Senior Advisory Board, performs at their semi-annual variety show, coordinates resident volunteers to help serve the daily meal, and even gives educational presentations.
Jake will be presenting on “Owls of Minnesota” on March 10 at 10:00am, and it’s going to be a “hoot!” If you want to attend, calling ahead to register is always encouraged. While you’re there learning about owls and viewing some of Jake’s personal owl photography, take their newsletter, sign up to attend a future event, or meet the amazing staff that help our Blaine seniors stay active, informed, and engaged. If you can’t make it to MAYC on the 10th, you are invited to attend his owl presentation at Cloverleaf Courts on March 24th at 2:00pm or at our sister site, Banfill Crossing, in Fridley on the 26th at 1:00pm. Call us ahead of time to let us know you’ll be coming, bring a friend, and schedule a tour while you’re visiting either before or after the presentation. We have lovely updated one-bedrooms available in March and April and once you’re here, you won’t be more than a quarter mile from the MAYC!
