Fall Garage and Bake Sale and Food Drive at Cloverleaf Courts!
Fall has arrived at Cloverleaf Courts, and our residents are embracing every bit of it with fun programs, parties, educational seminars, spiritual and wellness opportunities, and multiple charitable and fundraising drives.
Join us on Saturday, November 7 for our annual Fall Garage and Bake Sale. Residents will organize garage sale items and make homemade baked goods available for sale in our community room from 10:00am – 2:00pm, and the public is welcome to come in for both the sale and a tour of our community. Staff will be available for tours and to answer your questions about our community. All proceeds from the sale will go to the Resident Council’s Resident Fund, providing extra money for the coming year’s event planning, parties, speakers, entertainment and resident-selected community upgrades like new grilling equipment and supplies for our various resident committees like Photo Club, Library and Book Club, Garden Club, Decorating Club, and more.
We will also host our annual Fall Food Drive, with all donations being brought to the Salvation Army Emergency Food Shelf (located at the Anoka County Human Services building nearby) to directly make an impact on those experience food insecurity around the holidays. Last year, our goal was 500 pounds, and this year we are setting it even higher at 600 pounds. If we break this goal, our residents will enjoy a pizza party and movie night on our new projector and big screen TV.
