Blaine Courts Has Wellness on the Mind This Winter
It’s hard to stay active when the cold sets in, but our residents are keeping wellness in mind and hitting our recently updated fitness room, sharing healthy treats (along with a few less-than-healthy treats – everything in moderation, right?!), and attending wellness programs like our monthly blood pressure check from our friends Rachel and Tamara of Visiting Angels.
Each month, they host a free blood pressure check, bring some refreshments, and share information on their in-home resources so our residents can maintain their independence with a little support if needed. Rachel has a wealth of knowledge of local resources as well as information on what they offer, so she is always ready to answer questions our residents may have, while Tamara runs the blood pressure check and helps them track their stats on a tracking card they bring each month to stay on top of their numbers.
This relationship with Visiting Angels is one of many helpful resource organizations that our award-winning staff are always making within the community to help keep our residents living the Lang Nelson Experience all year, and especially when a little extra help is needed.
