Congrats to Mary Ann Young Center on 40 Years!
Happy 40th Anniversary to our awesome neighbors and friends at the Mary Ann Young Center of Blaine! It’s no secret that the Mary Ann Young Center (or MAYC) is a gem of the Blaine community, and frequented daily by many of our residents. They provide resources, programming, special events, and more to help the seniors in the area live a life full of activity and opportunity. It’s a short drive away from Blaine Courts, and for our residents who don’t drive, they have a very affordable and reliable bus service that transports area seniors to and from the center. As we celebrate their 40 years of being the difference in our community and our residents’ lives, we reflect on the good they’ve done here at Blaine Courts. MAYC staff visits throughout the year to provide resources and talk about programming ideas, they’ve inspired residents to pursue new hobbies like wood working, featured health and wellness informational programs, bring extra food donations from Cub Foods, and so much more. Cheers to another 40 years!
