Emerald Pointe Welcomes the Bakers!
I am so excited to announce our November Resident Spotlight, James and Lydia Baker. The Bakers are new to Emerald Pointe community but are very happy to be here. A longtime friend who is a resident referred the Baker’s to Emerald Pointe and the Lang Nelson Continuum of Care program help seal their decision to move into Emerald Pointe.
The Bakers were born in Muncie, Indiana and were high school sweethearts who fell in love. The Bakers have been happily married for 63 wonderful years. They are the proud parents of 4 wonderful sons, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Family is very important to them so they enjoy spending time with family and their two fury babies Casey and Zoe who like to go for walks at 6:30am.
Before retirement Lydia Baker worked at Nortek Air Solution for 18 years in accounting and James Baker worked at FSI International for 6 years. James was also a Bible Teacher and Pastor in Indiana.
I enjoyed the time I spent with this beautiful, happy, bless couple who shared with me words of wisdom they live by “Live, Laugh and Love and serve the Lord and enjoy your life for tomorrow is not promised.” Thank you for making Emerald Pointe your home.
