Summer Events at Twin Lake North: A Month of Fun and Connection
As we welcome the heart of summer, Twin Lake North is excited to share a full calendar of events designed to bring residents together and make the most of the season. July promises a variety of engaging activities for all ages, with a special focus on our youth and families. From community outings to on-site events, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
We are pleased to continue offering Rec on the Go every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 to 4:30 PM. This program provides free meals and structured activities for children and teens ages 5–18. It’s a wonderful opportunity for young residents to stay active, connect with peers, and enjoy the outdoors in a safe, supportive environment. On Monday, July 8th, residents are invited to join us for lunch at Good Day Café in Golden Valley. The outing begins at 1:00 PM, and we look forward to sharing good food and conversation in a welcoming atmosphere. Later that week, on Thursday, July 11th, we will head to Bunker Beach for a relaxing and refreshing swim. This outing offers a chance to unwind and enjoy one of the area’s best water parks—perfect for families or anyone looking to cool off and have fun in the sun. For those with a sweet tooth, our visit to Cullen’s on Wednesday, July 17th at 6:00 PM is not to be missed. Cullen’s offers a variety of nostalgic treats, including ice cream, soda, and candy, available for purchase. It’s a great midweek outing that the whole family can enjoy. On Wednesday, July 24th at 5:00 PM, we’ll be heading to Cheap Skate in Coon Rapids. Whether you're planning a family evening out or a unique date night, this skating event is a fun way to stay active and connect with fellow residents. The following evening, Thursday, July 25th, we will host Movie Night in the Clubhouse. Attendees can look forward to complimentary pizza and a cozy viewing experience. The featured movie will be announced soon, so stay tuned for details. Lastly, we are thrilled to announce the return of a community favorite: Bingo and Snacks on July 28th at 4 PM. This event is perfect for both seasoned players and beginners, offering a lighthearted atmosphere and the chance to win exciting prizes.
For those looking for a great summer activity for their kids, there is going to be a Pop-Up Splash Pad located at Firehouse Park 6535 N Bryant Ave Brooklyn Center, Minnesota 55430.
