It is time for the fall festivities to begin at Twin Lake North!
National Night to Unite was awesome. We had a nice array of community members come participate in the fun. We enjoyed music & food, mingled, and played games that ranged from large Jenga, three-legged races, and tug war.
In September we will start the kick-off with Trail-Blazing Tuesdays, Pop-up Bingo, and some mini-building competitions. Watch your email and check the newsletter for details.
Our young TLN residents got to show off their kazoo skills with a rag-time band at the Minnetonka Farmers Market. There are still plenty of dates to take in the market before they close October 1. https://www.minnetonkamn.gov/our-city/city-events/farmers-market. I challenge you to support your community and engage in the fall festivities.
If you are looking for an adventure outside of TLN check out this festival happening on the first weekend in September; The Minneapolis Monarch Festival - Festival de la Monarca held on Saturday, September 7 at Lake Nokomis Park 10 am - 4 pm. The annual Monarch Festival – Festival de la Monarca celebrates the monarch butterfly’s amazing 2,300-mile migration from Minnesota to Mexico. Come and enjoy art, music, dance, games, buying native plants, prairie tours, and food. The festival raises awareness of the need to provide and protect monarch habitat.
