Community Holiday Initiatives at Twin Lake North Apartments
Located in the heart of our vibrant community, Twin Lake North Apartments (TLN) offers more than just a place to live—it’s a place to belong. Our residents enjoy a welcoming environment, comfortable amenities, and a strong sense of connection that makes TLN truly special. As part of our ongoing commitment to community engagement, we are proud to organize a series of holiday initiatives that bring neighbors together while supporting those in need.
Throughout the month of November, residents are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items at the TLN clubhouse. All contributions will be distributed to the NEAR Food Shelf during the holiday season. Every donation—large or small—helps make a difference in our community. On Monday, November 25th, TLN residents are invited to join us for a volunteer session at Feed My Starving Children, where we will help pack meals for children around the world. Transportation will be provided from the TLN clubhouse located at 4539 58th Ave N, with pickup at 4:30 PM. Sign-up is required; please visit the office to reserve your spot. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve alongside your neighbors and experience the joy of giving back. Residents are also encouraged to participate in the Salvation Army’s Bell Ringer Program. Those interested may sign up individually online for a date and location that best suits their schedule. Your time and enthusiasm will help support vital programs for individuals and families in need throughout our community. In December, TLN will once again partner with Glorious Grace Church to host a Toys for Tots event in the clubhouse. This annual event provides new, unwrapped toys for children in need and helps brighten the holidays for families across the area. Additional event details will be announced soon—stay tuned!
For all my Veterans, enjoy a free breakfast at the Brooklyn Center Community Center on November 12th from 10:30 to 11:30. Registration is preferred but not required. For more information and registration, click the link below!
