Summit Oaks Wraps up LNRVM

Happy 4th of July!!!  We had quite an eventful June. Starting with our 13th annual LNRVM (Lang Nelson resident visit month). Thank you to all who brought a friend or family member to join us this year it was wonderful to meet them and have them enjoy the Summit Oaks/Lang Nelson experience! What a great turnout for our pizza parties. Our Summer Pool Opening event/LNRVM celebration was a huge success!  The music with Mary was amazing as always!  The meal was so good, the hot dogs, pasta salad and cookies were amazing! We got to win some fun prizes as well.  We hope you all had as much fun in June as we did putting it all together for you, our residents!! We look forward to the next big event.  

We started our pool aerobics back up with Lana, if you are looking for a low impact work out you should give it a try. We had our 3rd annual Father’s Day celebration for all the men in our community not just our dads. The men got to enjoy a lunch with some games and prizes which included the special tie theme. Our professional’s group had a blast learning how to make egg roll. The group even got out for a fun lunch at Maynard’s in Excelsior where the pan fried walleye is a house specialty.  I think some of us may have even gained a pound or two (Mmm they were so…. Good).  Remember, in August we will be having our Night to Unite celebration.
