Come Socialize at Summit Oaks
August is known for the celebration of Night to Unite, which is the Minnesota name for National Night Out, started in 1984. It was introduced through existing networks of law enforcement, neighborhood watch groups, and other organizations to promote community building and crime prevention.
Night to Unite gives neighbors the opportunity to get together, get to know one another, heighten awareness of crime, drug and violence prevention, and strengthen community partnerships. Summit Oaks has a big party out in the parking lot for our resident to get to know each other. On Tuesday, August 5 at 6:00pm Summit Oaks will celebrate with Back to the 50s theme. There will be food, prizes, and entertainment along with a back to the 50s costume contest.
Summit Oaks has 2 exciting bus trips on Monday, August 11th the General Store in Minnetonka & The Woods in Maple Grove. On Thursday, August 21st a trip to the 50s grill in Brooklyn Center. Take a look at the August Calendar to see all the activities that are going on.
