Summit Oaks had an amazing summer and is looking forward to a fun autumn!

Summit Oaks had a great summer! Let’s recap some of the highlights here at Summit Oaks and some of your accomplishments.  Summit Oaks is phasing in a smoke-free building – Aaaah fresh air for everyone! This past summer, residents donated 140 pounds of food to the Anoka Food Shelf.  Thank you Summit residents for always giving back to the community! At our Night to Unite gathering we fed 45 people who brought their friends and we were treated to the most fabulous Pot Luck food on the planet. Raffle drawings made several residents extremely happy winning gifts from household items and luggage to summer coolers.  Summit Oaks is a safe place and we intend to keep it neighbor strong! A visit from first responders from the City of Coon Rapids made our night extra fun!  Special thanks to the Minnesota Farmer who for the past 9-weeks brought us an in-house Farmer’s Market with seasonal fresh produce! We visited Como Zoo, the Pine Tree Orchard, and Texas Roadhouse for lunch. As we venture into Fall and Winter months, Summit Oaks has a lot to offer with Monday Night Football in the Community Room, Cider, Cocoa & Cookies on Thursdays set up by the Resident Council, there’s Bingo and more!  We’re having a great Rocktober!

We have many activities going on from dinner, luncheons and special outings.  We have everything for the young and older than younger folks!  Summit Oaks – where residents are proud to call their home! We would love for you to join us!
