There’s nothing quite like a little sweetness to brighten your day — and the residents of Creekside Gables recently experienced just that! Thanks to Lang Nelson Transportation, our residents enjoyed a delightful outing to Minnesota’s Largest Candy Store in Jordan, Minnesota — the famous yellow barn that has been a Twin Cities favorite for 45 years.

The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by rows upon rows of colorful candy displays, nostalgic favorites, and unique treats you won’t find anywhere else. From every flavor of taffy you can imagine to unexpected finds like bacon-flavored soda, this store truly offers something for everyone. For many of our residents, it brought back fond memories of childhood treats and simple joys shared with family and friends.

As one of Minnesota’s most beloved landmarks, this candy wonderland is more than just a store — it’s an experience. And excitingly, the owners recently announced plans to open a brand-new, much larger location nearby in 2027 — reportedly twice the size of the current store! Twice the space means twice the fun (and twice the candy)!
