Legacy Ida Marie Finds Comfort in Holiday Foods

We now enter into the Comfort food season here in Minnesota; great proteins and flavorful starches with a nice colorful vegetable to enhance our appetites. With the advent of Thanksgiving 2 weeks away we find ourselves eating smaller amounts to compensate for the extra helping of mashed potatoes gravy and pie we foresee in the not-so-distant future. The holidays are made for food, we can sugar coat that it’s all about family, friends and celebration but without food the guest list and average get-together would be short and many would opt to stay home and keep warm, the Legacy will kick start the Holidays of 2022 with a chef Demo the day before Thanksgiving of triple dipped puff caramel corn that comes with a toothbrush. From there its sweet sweets and more sweets until we man up and make a new year’s commitment to join a gym or health club for 2023.

I say dig in everyone it’s time to bring back some normalcies after 2.5 years of being in our own selves’ life is too short to worry about calorie counts and your A1C’s it’s the holidays and it all about FOOD!!!

Want to party with us? We’d love to have YOU! Give us a call at 612-843-3700 or email legacyhousingspecialist@lanel.com to get started.

Happy Cooking,
