All Hail the Twin Lake North Queen!
Twin Lake North resident, Lola, gives the words “independent living” a whole new meaning! Lola (pictured), having just celebrated her 103rd birthday in August, is the oldest resident at “the new” Twin Lake North. She impresses people every day by exemplifying many ways to live a longer, healthier life. Walking three flights of stairs as she comes and goes (with a little help), attending TLN events, and staying connected with her neighbors, family, and friends are just a few of the ways that she has enhanced her own living experience in this community over her 35 years here. It was (literally) our mission to go above and beyond on her big day and several staff, residents, and VIP’s made sure to treat Lola like the Twin Lake North Queen that she is!
We may be guilty of a few mask-less pictures, but Lola did not want it any other way. We can just picture her now, sitting in her beautiful, well-kept home, scrolling through pictures on her iPad. Yes, that’s right folks, if Lola can work modern technology, anyone can!
