Night to Unite Success at Summit Oaks Apartments!

Night to Unite was a huge success! Thank you to everyone that attended and made the event a lot of fun. Our “Dress in Orange” contest winners were Jeff and Jamie. Congratulations! Greg from Summit Oaks was barbequing a number of great dishes and treats that were brought by residents and guests. Kim, Greg and Gwen worked the duck pond and we gave away a number of door prizes. A few played yard games, goodie bags were given to everyone and we had a visit from the police and fire departments.

Our trip to the Farmers Market was short so we added a little tour of Minneapolis going to see the Vikings Stadium and the Stone Arch Bridge on the way to Elsies for lunch. It was our last trip with Mike as our driver. We will miss his laughter and jokes! Summit Oaks will be taking a bus to breakfast to the “Original Pancake House” in Maple Grove August 26th. If you would like to join us, please let us know. We would love some new faces! The swimming pool has been enjoyed by many this summer. If you haven’t been out there, go enjoy it before the snow flies!
