Stacks of Smiles & So Much More at Cedarwood: A Sweet Morning and Exciting Events Ahead!
We’re excited to share the wonderful success of our Resident Appreciation Pancake Breakfast held on March 28th! It was a fantastic morning filled with delicious food, great conversation, and a strong sense of community. Residents came together to enjoy fresh made from scratch plain and chocolate chip pancakes with delicious fruit toppings if desired. It was a great opportunity to connect with residents of the Cedarwood Community, other member of our Crystal community and start the day with smiles all around. Thank you to Jamarcus from Cornerstone Church, and everyone who attended and helped make the event so memorable, we truly appreciate being part of such a welcoming and engaged community!
We’re excited to highlight a couple of events that will brought valuable information and learning to our community! A representative from CapTel Telephone Service presented a program for those residents who are hearing impaired or experiencing hearing loss during our Chat-N-Chowder on Tuesday April 14th . CapTel provided a specialized telephone service designed to make phone conversations easier to understand. Using advanced captioning technology, CapTel displays written captions of what the caller is saying in real time, allowing users to read along while listening.
We’re also thrilled to announce a special event for our youngest residents and their families! We hosted Children’s Story Time in partnership with the Rockford Road Hennepin County Library on Thursday April 23rd. This engaging session designed for children ages birth to 5 years old featured fun, interactive storytelling that encouraged early literacy and imagination.
Finally! We’re also happy to introduce a new and convenient way to stay connected and sign up for upcoming events: our Cedarwood Apartments Activity QR Code!
