Calibre Chase Supports N.E.A.R
N.E.A.R. not Far from help. N.E.A.R. Food Shelf is marking an incredible milestone—50 years of service to our community. Their unique “shopper‑choice” model empowers individuals and families to select the foods that best meet their needs, rather than receiving prepackaged bundles. This approach preserves dignity, reduces waste, and ensures every donation truly makes a difference. N.E.A.R. continues to welcome new volunteers and donations as they expand their impact.
At Calibre Chase, we’re proud to support their mission. Each week, we empty our on‑site collection box and send contributions to N.E.A.R. to help our neighbors. This December, our community stepped up in a big way for their winter drive—donating:
- 3 pairs of socks
- 11 pairs of gloves
- 5 hats
- 2 pairs of mittens
- 1 pair of tennis shoes
We also participated in their annual toy drive, helping bring joy to local families during the holiday season.
In total, Calibre Chase donated 444 pounds of food and $275 in 2025.
