Let the Celebrations Begin at the Arbors!
December celebrations have begun at The Arbors! This month’s calendar is full of a variety of holiday events, and we’ve just wrapped up our first week’s festivities.
During this Christmas season, the hallways of both buildings are sparkling and beautiful, as our residents decorate their doors and vie for the title of Best Door Decoration. We took a stroll throughout our buildings to admire their creativity and place our votes. Afterwards, we rested our feet and gathered for coffee, hot cider, and Christmas cookies.
Music plays a major role in our December celebrations, and we welcomed our first entertainers last week. On December 6, Watermark Church https://www.stillwatermark.com/ treated us to a sing-along of beloved Christmas songs, followed by spiritual music which was accompanied by interpretive dancers. Our residents really enjoyed this meaningful and unique presentation.
Later in the week on December 9, we attended our local theatre’s production of A Christmas Story, https://www.lakeshoreplayers.org/. This outing has become a resident favorite, and it is the perfect way to kick off a month of holiday cheer! There is no time to be a scrooge at The Arbors, as the Christmas spirit is everywhere!
