Community Spirit Shines Bright: Local Leaders Judge Holiday Displays at Anthony James
The holiday season at Anthony James Senior Independent Apartments was made even more special this year thanks to two distinguished guests who volunteered their time to judge our resident porch and door displays. Mayor John Elder (jelder@newhopemn.gov), a long-time supporter and friend of our community, returned once again to share in the festive spirit. Joining him was Council Member Kyle Coryell (kcoryell@newhopemn.gov), who brought fresh enthusiasm and a keen eye for creativity. John believed Kyle would enjoy the experience, and he was absolutely right!
Residents went all out decorating their porches and doors, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that truly reflects the heart of our community. The judges were impressed by the creativity and attention to detail, making their task both delightful and challenging.
Mayor Elder has been deeply involved in New Hope for over 25 years, serving in various leadership roles and supporting local programs. Council Member Coryell, appointed earlier this year, brings a passion for public health and community well-being. Their participation underscores the strong partnership between Anthony James and the City of New Hope.
This event is part of our ongoing effort to foster connections not only within our community but also with local leaders and organizations. These relationships enrich the lives of our residents and strengthen ties across the city.
