Anthony James Residents will Learn Fire Safety!

A fire in an apartment building is a very frightening occurrence, and most residents are unsure of what they need to do. Many of us have the same thoughts that “These things only happen to other people.” The fact is it can and did happen to our community.

It really doesn’t matter how or where a fire starts. It’s knowing what to do that will keep you safe. The best person to ask what to do if there is a fire in our community is our local Fire Chief. Knowing what to do and following the instructions of the fire personal will save your life.

We will have the opportunity to talk directly with one of the West Metro Fire–Rescue District Fire Fighters, Lieutenant Jesus Soto.  Lieutenant Soto will be here at Anthony James on Wednesday May 15th to speak at our resident meeting at 4:00 pm. He will be giving a presentation on senior fire and apartment safety.

Updated Lang Nelson / Anthony James fire procedures will be distributed at the meeting and placed in the May newsletter. To learn more about the West Metro Fire–Rescue District Fire Department please visit https://www.wmfrd.org/
