Anthony James Honoring Community and Tradition

A Heartfelt Thanks to the Masons

The Anthony James Community Room was filled with warmth, laughter, and the delicious aroma of comfort food as residents, families, and friends gathered for a Free Community Breakfast hosted by Resident Steve J. and the International Masons and Eastern Stars.

The Order of the Eastern Star (OES) is the world's largest fraternal organization for men and women, founded in 1850 by Dr. Robert Morris, focused on charity, education, and fostering fellowship. Members are dedicated to making a positive difference in their communities through charitable works and promoting compassion and kindness. The organization has specific membership requirements, often requiring a Masonic relationship or sponsorship from a current member, and is led by a Worthy Matron and her officers at the local chapter level.

The event was more than just a meal, it was a celebration of unity, generosity, and the enduring spirit of service that the Masons and Eastern Stars bring to our community. Guests enjoyed a hearty menu featuring chicken & waffles, sausage, biscuits & gravy, quiche, grits, rice, fruit, juice, and more, all served with love and care.

We extend our deepest thanks to Steve J. and the International Masons and Eastern Stars, who not only provided a wonderful breakfast but continue to support and uplift our residents through regular meetings and meaningful engagement. Their commitment to fellowship and service reminds us of the power of coming together, and how even a simple breakfast can nourish both body and soul. Thank you for making a difference.
