Twin Lake North Celebrates Black History Month!
The NEW Twin Lake North cannot wait to Celebrate the month of February with a plethora of events that honor Black History Month! Our bus will be busy bringing our residents to various events throughout the Twin Cities such as the Hennepin History Museum, a Black History Month Celebration at North Hennepin Community College, and later this month a showing of the 2019 live action Lion King movie. That’s not all we’re doing, though!
Join us Friday, February 7th at the club house to help kick-off our Black History Celebration. The event starts at 5:00 pm and will give residents a chance to share their favorite pictures, quotes, memorabilia, etc. on a display board that will be up in the club house all month. Residents can add to the board anytime throughout the month. Residents who participate in this community-wide art project will receive a free swag bag full of goodies! (while supplies last)
