COVID Keeping You In Again? Celebrate Online with Twin Lake North!
If there were ever a time to jump on the technology bandwagon, now would be it. Television, social media, and other virtual experiences have become many people’s #1 mode of entertainment in 2020. That’s why Twin Lake North decided to take their holiday celebration to Facebook.
The TLN Holiday Jubilee is in full-swing. Residents and their friends and family have been tuning in to the Twin Lake North Facebook page every Tuesday and Thursday to see what the TLN staff is up to next with their holiday fun. The event started off with staff playing the saran wrap gift game (pictured). Each video celebrates the holidays in a different way such as a White Elephant gift exchange (also pictured; Jeff & Erin), holiday charades, story time with Santa, and more! Each Facebook watch also includes the chance for viewers to win a variety of prizes from board games to rent credit.
These videos are just one way for residents to stay connected this season. TLN is also offering games via email, to-go meal options from Jewel’s Cave, and a window decorating competition. Being involved in this community and staying connected is important for our mental and emotional health and TLN is working hard to make sure residents know we are here and feeling these challenges alongside of them. Now it’s time to hop on your device, get over to Facebook and search @TLNapartments and tune in! You don’t have to be a resident to have some laughs with us this season!
