The Thomasville Community is Learning to Cook Because Together, We Can Learn New Hobbies
At the New Thomasville community engagement and site enhancements make the experience. We have made many changes to the site, including kitchen remodels! And what better way to celebrate these wonderful new kitchens than to cook in them! I wanted to share with you some of my recently favorite recipes that are quick and easy. The first dish to share is one my kiddos just love: Feta cheese pasta- included in the picture about paired with a Caesar salad.
Ingredients: 1 box of your favorite pasts | 8-ounce block of feta cheese | 2 cups cherry tomatoes | 1 garlic clove | 3 tbs Olive oil | 3-4 basil leaves | Salt & pepper.
Directions: 1) Preheat oven to 400°F. 2) In a 13x9-inch baking dish, stir together the cherry tomatoes, 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 3) Push the tomatoes to the sides of the dish then place the block of feta cheese in the center. 4) Drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil on top of the feta. 5) Bake until the cheese has softened and the tomatoes are roasted, about 30 minutes. 6) While the feta is baking, cook noodles (bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, 10 to 12 minutes), drain, and set aside. 7) Remove the baking dish from the oven and using a large spoon, mash the feta and stir it together with the tomatoes. 8) Add drained pasta to the baking dish, stirring well to combine. 9) Garnish the pasta with the basil. 10) Serve and enjoy!
