Facing Cabin Fever at Cedarwood

March is the month that comes in like a lion and out like a lamb.  At Cedarwood we do our best to beat the inevitable cabin fever that comes with living in Minnesota.  These past few months our residents have been engaging in contests in bigger numbers than ever before.  Each week each unit has a different contest put on their door.  Games range from Wheel of Fortune to Bingo, crossword puzzles, words searches, and more.  They are given a deadline to turn the contest in and a winner is drawn.  The winner of every contest receives rent credit for the next month.

In addition to our contests this past month we hosted a to-go lunch.  Residents were treated to a chicken sandwiches (with multiple sauces) and chips.  We had over 40 people safely stagger through and bring some lunch home.  Why?  Because that’s what we do!  Soon we will be firing up the grill outside!
