It is also a month to celebrate our residents here at The Crossings at Brookwood!
At The Crossings there are so many things to celebrate! We LOVE to gather together and socialize for just about any reason! This month there were LOTS of celebrations:
- 8TH Annual “LNRVM” (Lang Nelson Resident Visit Month). The month of June is dedicated to our Very Important Residents! It’s a special time to celebrate and do what we do best: Spoil our residents, get to know them better and foster relationships!
- National Donut Day! On June 4th residents were treated to a special donut from Valley Pastries in Golden Valley!
- Frieda’s 101st Birthday! On June 13th we honored Frieda with a special cake prepared by CUB Bakery in Brooklyn Center. Residents and her family came to wish her a very Happy Birthday!
- Father’s Day! We celebrated early at The Crossing on June 17th with a special Breakfast Brunch catered by TST Creative Catering!
- Joan’s “Surprise” 80th Birthday! On June 17th residents, family and friends came to wish Joan a very Happy Birthday! We all enjoyed a delicious Lemon-Filled Cake made by CUB Bakery in Brooklyn Center!
- Ice Cream Social! We celebrated the start of summer on June 24th! Residents and guests made their own ice cream sundae and listened to the piano music of our very talented resident Joan C! Join us for our next Ice Cream Social on July 22nd from 1-3 pm!
- National Bingo Day! We spoiled our residents on June 27th with special games of bingo and extra special prizes!
- June Birthday Party! Again we spoiled our residents on June 29th as we celebrated all the birthdays in June and “Wrap-up LNRVM” with special door prizes drawings!
Happening in July: Chat & Chowder Lunch & Tour! Please join us on July 20th at 12 noon for a delicious lunch of homemade soup, artisan crafted sandwich and a delicious dessert! Tours available after lunch! Ice Cream Social! Join us on Wednesday, July 21st at 1 pm. Make your own ice cream sundae and listen to some summer-fun music and take a tour!
