The Staff at Crossings at Brookwood Looks for unique ways to stay active!

The Staff and Residents at The Crossings at Brookwood like to stay active! It is even more rewarding when we can have fun, stay active and healthy and help others. One way we do this is to support many different organizations and charities. This gives us an opportunity to get out and be active while helping others also. Our most recent active outreach event that we attended with the staff and several residents was the Feed My Starving Children program. We enjoy going to FMSC because it requires us to be active together while helping others. We packaged 48,600 meals for children in need. This is estimated to feed 133 children for an entire year!

We are happy to support the community and give back and are always looking for opportunities to volunteer to make a difference! Join the staff and residents for our next FUN and ACTIVE outing to Silverwood Park in St. Anthony on June 17th from 10:30-12:30. Seniors in the community are invited to join the Staff and residents from The Crossings on this exclusive field trip to Silverwood Park to enjoy the park, exercise, get some fresh air, and meet other seniors in the community. To find out how you can come and live with our caring group of residents!
