Creekside Gables = Fun & Safe!
Creekside’s last art class with Dixie was not only fun (we painted rocks like lady bugs and birds on a branch), but inspirational. Our inspirational project was due largely in light of all that is going on right now in our own neighborhoods. We thought that a kind word found on an unusually colored rock might just help brighten someone’s day. So, we painted little Kindness rocks with words like hope, love, believe, faith. Then as we go out into our neighborhood/the world we drop/place the rocks on the ground. Maybe we place them at the drug store or grocery store or even in our own flowerbeds etc. anywhere we go. With the hopes that someone will pick it up and it will brighten their day. We are even thinking of holding another Kindness rock painting day to make more and keep the goodness going!
We also held our 2nd COVID clinic. 30 of our residents who otherwise would not have been able to go out and get their shots have now been vaccinated. We would like to give a BIG Thank you to North Memorial Hospital and Hennepin County for teaming up and bring this opportunity to Creekside Gables. We are so grateful and blessed.
Remember, if you know a friend or family member that would love to make Creekside Gables their home give us call. At this time, we are asking that all appointment be scheduled in advance. Please call us at 763-503-0104 for a virtual tour and to schedule your appointment. We would love for them to join our wonderful community because Creekside Rocks!
