From Sock Hops to Spider Socks at Twin Lake North!
Remember when Elvis was number one and the sock hop was the place to be? Twin Lake North residents do! We celebrated back-to-school in September with a 50’s sock hop dance. Residents of all ages attended, and many of our seniors shared their memories of the sock hop days. The event would not have been complete without a visit from the Big Bell Ice Cream Truck (pictured).
TLN continues to tailor activities toward resident requests and ideas and we look forward to what our resident council has come up with for October. Stay tuned for the various Fall-related activities that we have planned such as, the annual chili cook-off (picture from last year), Halloween decorating, and TLN Trunk-or-treat! In an effort to continually stay safe and smart, our trunk-or-treat event will have PPE requirements and other rules and regulations to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other illnesses.
