We had a wonderful time with forty residents, family and friends as we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day at Summit Oaks with a social followed by Bingo. The appetizers were fantastic, the laughs and conversations made the evening a huge success! We will continue to have Dabble and Babble with another evening planned for March 24. Even if you don’t enjoy crafts but would like to stop by and chat, you are welcome to join us. Please bring a project that you are working on and enjoy a few hours visiting with neighbors, friends and guests while getting new ideas. If you would like to join us we will meet at 6pm.
Plans are being made for summer activities. We encourage anyone with ideas for activities or gatherings to please bring them to us. We absolutely love the suggestions. Thank you for your involvement with our community!

Summit Oaks resident Lisa has lived here since 2011. Lisa stated; When I made the choice to move back home, I knew I wanted to live in the same cool apartments as my aunt did. I didn’t even bother to tour before I signed the lease and this was the best thing I could have done. I have awesome neighbors and Ash loves “his” patio. My friends all comment on how large the apartment is and how NICE it is kept up. Then I show them the activities calendar and they are amazed at how busy we are. I can’t wait for pool season. The pool is kept so clean! I grew up in Coon Rapids and the location the apartment complex is built on was Ghosties Eggs and Chickens. Round Lake was a dirt road and Coon Rapids Boulevard was two lanes, no lights and barely paved so this area has exploded. Summit Oaks is the best place to live! The people here make it great – Gwen, Kim and Greg are easy to work with and housekeeping does an excellent job too! The holiday meals are a blast! You can always find someone to talk to and you are close to everything – hospital, doctors and shopping. I plan on living at Summit Oaks till I either die or am forced to move due to age!
