Santa and Mrs. Claus Celebrate at River Oaks
On Wednesday, December 16th we held a Christmas Celebration from 3-7pm for all residents of River Oaks. To start out the celebration, Mr. and Mrs. Claus made an appearance! All residents who wanted to take a picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus had the ability to do so. Residents sat around Santa and Mrs. Claus and sang Christmas songs, talked about Christmas wishes, and shared many ho ho ho’s.
To follow Santa and Mrs. Claus, our staff served delicious hors-d'oeuvres to residents as they were seated with their sparkling beverage in champagne flutes. Residents appreciated all staff being there for the event.
While residents were served the main course, a harpist played Christmas music for them while they enjoyed their meal. After residents ate their dessert assortment, staff turned off the lights in the dining room to sing Silent Night with the residents. It was truly a magical night filled with Christmas spirit.
