River Oaks Ida Marie Hosted a Three-course Meal for Christmas
River Oaks celebrated in a big way last month! A three-course meal was prepared by Chef Mark and kitchen staff. The meal consisted of an appetizer, main course, and a dessert.
The appetizer included three hors d’oeuvres: deviled eggs, chocolate covered strawberries, and shrimp cocktail.
The main course was slow roasted prime rib, shaved ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes with marshmallow, green bean almondine, and honey glazed carrots.
The dessert featured personal lemon meringue tarts, pumpkin praline cheesecake, and strawberry cream profiterole.
Residents left this meal with full bellies, smiling faces, and dessert to save for later!
The chef and kitchen went over the top on this meal and it did not disappoint. River Oaks is lucky to have the best staff in the Ida Marie Restaurant.
