Fun, Fun and more Fun!
Our residents at River Oaks of Anoka love adventure! Which is why we plan many exciting outing throughout the month. In February, we visited the Science Museum’s Omni Theater where we watch “Humpback Whales.” The show and experience was out of this world! Residents loved watching the whales on the enormous 90-foot dome screen. And the amazing surround sound of the theater made it all the more fantastic as we listened to the whales sing their songs. It was an adventure that we will never forget!
Another fun outing planned in February was a trip to the see the 1960’s musical performance of “The Fantasticks”, presented by the Cross Community Players. It was a humorous and romantic story about a boy, a girl, and two meddling fathers. In April, we will be going to see “Sound of Music” at Legacy Christian Academy, and a comical show, the “Looney Lutheran”, performed by the Church Basement Ladies!
