Legacy is Looking Forward to the New Year!

There were many exciting events and get togethers to keep everyone active right to the end of the year. During a recent outing, our group marveled at the many colorful light displays throughout the neighborhoods.  Even our driver showed off her Christmas spirit by decorating the inside of her bus with Christmas lights and ornaments.  We were honored and delighted to see our friends from the St. Anthony Girl Scout troop. The group caroled in the Ida Marie dining room and in the Grand Parlor.  Afterwards, all enjoyed hot cocoa and cookies. In addition to the caroling by the Girl Scouts, a lively group of friends who live at the Legacy caroled in the hallways.  It was a new event that was greatly appreciated by all. The month continued on with our Winter Wonderland celebration.  There was a jazz trio,  dancing, feasting on delicious appetizers, and sipping on flavored coffee and refreshing punch. To round out the end of the month, Santa's Elves delivered a Christmas wish to a young man who left his Christmas gift list in The Legacy Mail Box.
