Music, laughter and smiles! All at the Legacy of St. Anthony!

We Went to Hawaii and Back All in an Hour!

Oh, what a great time we had at The Legacy of St. Anthony on Thursday, September 3 when we “boarded” our chairs and headed off to the Hawaiian Islands for some beautiful Hawaiian music and tropical treats. We just had to have one last fling of summer! Our music was provided by Johnny Pineapple (yes, that is his real name) who entertained us with those luau songs that are so enchanting. Of course, we had to have Hula dancers! Carolyn, the Life Enrichment Director, and Penny, the Lead Receptionist, tried their best to do the Hula but were told in good fun that they should stick to their day jobs! The treats, oh, the treats. Pineapple cupcakes, fresh fruit skewers, and passion fruit punch rounded out the refreshment time. Little umbrellas on the cupcakes made even the food look Hawaiian.

So our trip was indeed the trip of a life time, and we didn’t even have to leave our chairs!
