Hennepin County partners with Creekside Gables, we are honored!

 

There was no denying the excitement as residents of Creekside Gables gathered for an impromptu meeting to talk about the upcoming planting season. Creekside Gables received a grant last fall from Hennepin County to construct four above ground vegetable gardens in the courtyard at Creekside Gables. 

The 4’ x 8’ vegetable gardens were constructed by Backyard Farms in late October. Farmers from Backyard Farms will be working closely with the residents of Creekside Gables for the next two years educating and entertaining them on how to become amazing independent organic vegetable gardeners.
