The Arbors Loved Celebrating Halloween!
We have a tradition here at The Arbors of White Bear Lake. We celebrate Halloween with an afternoon of fun games and follow it with our Witches Brew and a Costume Contest.
Our games were led by one of our residents. We had a spider tossing contest, made silly faces by attempting to transfer Halloween cookies from our for heads to our mouths, moved M&M’s using only a straw and no hands, and had to guess the weight of a pumpkin! We laughed until we hurt, and looking at the pictures that were taken, we laugh some more!
Our Witches Brew consisted of 9 cauldrons of soup, breads, crackers, and desserts. Our residents had a great time tasting so many delicious soups and stews with friends and neighbors.
We love to celebrate holidays together, especially Halloween, where sometimes we have to guess who is who beneath the great costumes! This year brought some of the best yet! We already are looking forward to the next one!
