The Anthony James Celebrates National Night Out!
Every year on the first Tuesday of August the Nation celebrates together, by going out and getting to know their neighbors. The idea for National Night Out was originally introduced in 1984 as a way for communities to have positive interactions with Law Enforcement. At Lang Nelson it is one of our biggest events of the year!
The residents of the Anthony James gathered together in the community room for food, fun, games, prizes and visits from the New Hope Police Dept and city officials. Additionally, they used the event as an opportunity to collect both food and school supplies to donate to our local food shelf, NEAR. We were able to donate a big load of school supplies, have good food and a lot of laughs! Thank you to the participants, we can’t wait for next year. But, don’t forget, Lang Nelson communities gather together all year long, check out our calendar for the next get together and join us for our August 17th Bus to Music in the Park featuring the Castaways at Aquatore Park in Blaine.
