Twin Lake North Gives Back at Feed My Starving Children
Last month, the residents of Twin Lake North had the opportunity to participate in a packing event at Feed My Starving Children. We want to share our experience with you because we believe it was a dynamic experience that will forever impact our lives. Upon walking into the facility, we were greeted by a group of friendly volunteer staff. We were then given hair nets and escorted into a presentation room. The room went dark for a moment, then heart melting images of children in need began to fill the screen. It was hard to hold back tears! Our visit and volunteer effort helped to feed the children of Haiti. As a group we packed 37 boxes which is about 7,992 meals, enough to feed 22 kids for one year.
